Refund Policy
We stand behind every study. Here is exactly how refunds work at SOLAR BY JO. Last updated June 2026.
Every solar study is engineered personally by Madame Hajar Affane. If the study you receive does not match the agreed scope or contains substantive technical errors, you are entitled to a full refund — no questions asked.
14-Day Review Window
You have 14 days after delivery of the study to review it and request a refund if it fails to meet engineering standards.
Full refund — pre-engineering
If you cancel before the engineering work has started (typically within 24h of payment), 100% of your fee is refunded.
Partial refund — work started
Once data analysis has begun but before final delivery, a 50% refund applies to cover the engineering hours already invested.
1. Eligibility for full refund
Full refund of the study fee is granted if: (a) cancellation occurs before engineering begins; (b) the delivered study contains documented technical errors not corrected within 7 days; (c) we cannot deliver the study within 14 business days of receiving all required information.
2. Eligibility for partial refund
A 50% refund applies when the engineering work has started but you cancel before final delivery. We retain 50% to compensate the engineering hours invested.
3. Non-refundable cases
Refunds are not granted if: (a) the study has been delivered, accepted, and used to obtain quotes or start installation; (b) more than 14 days have passed since delivery without a written claim; (c) the dissatisfaction relates to factors outside engineering scope (e.g., subsequent equipment price changes, third-party installer issues).
4. Installation services
If installation is contracted separately, refund terms for installation work are governed by the installer's own contract. Our refund policy covers only the engineering study fee.
5. How to request a refund
Send a written request to hello@solarbyjo.com with: your name, payment reference, delivery date, and reason. We respond within 2 business days.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days. Credit card refunds appear in 5–10 business days; bank transfers within 3–5 business days. Original payment method is used.
7. Disputes
Any dispute is first addressed through good-faith dialogue with Madame Hajar Affane. Unresolved disputes are subject to the courts of Rabat, Morocco.
